TOTO LTD. (Headquartered in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture; President: Shinya Tamura) established a local subsidiary, "TOTO AR Company" (hereinafter "TOTO AR"; President: Hiroyuki Higashimoto), in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on September 21, 2025.
TOTO positions the Asia and Oceania Housing Equipment business as a key growth segment. In the Middle East, we have been working to expand sales since opening a sales office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in 2005. By newly establishing a local subsidiary in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we will strengthen sales activities in the country and aim to expand the TOTO brand across the Middle East region.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which exhibits a high economic growth rate in the Middle East, is a market expected to see further economic development, with construction of public facilities and hotels progressing ahead of large-scale international events. Accompanying this economic growth, water consumption is increasing yearly, and the average flushing volume for toilets is restricted to 3.5 liters or less※1. TOTO offers a lineup of water-saving toilets that meet this standard while demonstrating superior flushing performance, aiming to contribute via the plumbing sector to the creation of a sustainable society in the country.
TOTO AR plans to open "TOTO Technical Center" for architectural professionals in Riyadh in May 2026. Through this facility, we will appeal to professionals such as developers and interior designers regarding TOTO's technological capabilities and design, and strengthen proposal activities for projects such as hotels and commercial facilities.
TOTO Group aims to enhance economic and social value globally. By extending "TOTO-like products"—"Sustainable Products"—that balance "Cleanliness, Comfort, and Wellness" with "Environment" to the Middle East, we will contribute to realizing rich and comfortable lifestyle for the people in the region.
